i think most of you guys have seen the sketch of this... here's the finish. I made it for a sumo art show this month. still not sure which orientation makes the best up.
this is so cool! I like the design for the monster (old school!) and the sumo wrestler. the perspective and the sky pattern work really well together, great sense of depth, almost vertigo. looks more like NY than a japanese city. I love fighting scenes, I think I`m gonna do one next! maybe we should make it a month theme.
ho, both vertical and horizontal work well but I like the ones with the people on the bottom better, they direct the eye more to the fight, which makes sense since the monsters have more muted colors.
